| 11:04 pm | [All three bands, tour crew] Hello everyone! I've fetched us a quite decent new sound system for the rest of the tour. It is wired in, though. I'm so sorry to have to snatch the freedom to harass each other away from you, but hopefully this is temporary Please let me know if you have any questions about any of this. The ear monitors should function as you're used to. We DO need to spend a bit more time fine-tuning at sound check tonight, though, so I will need an extra ten from each of the openers, and somewhere in the range of another 20-30 from the Weird Sisters, please. If this presents a conflict* for anyone, please do let me know and we'll find a way to work around it. Stagehands, we're going to have to lay the wire for the new system from scratch once, then bundling it up after the show should make it easier to set up the rest of the tour. I'm heading into the venue now to get started, so I'll see you in there. *Conflicts do not include: sleeping, eating, shagging, miniature golf, or just plain not wanting to do it. Acceptable conflicts: meet and greets, kidnapping, dance breaks. Plan accordingly, people. |

| 3:16 am | To satisfy an itchy bout of curiosity: does this gigantic ginger feline-shaped creature belong to anyone? She turned up in my bunk an hour ago and is very cute, but I don't recall beginning tour with her. Unless someone's been working on some colour-changing charms? In which case, you missed a spot on her ear. Also, I have an organic potion for all of you poor sick darlings, if you'd like some. It numbs your tongue for a few minutes and tastes rather like shoe leather, but it will make you a bit less miserable for shows! [Myron] Can you come to sound check ten or so minutes early, love? I was getting some feedback from your mic last show and I'd like to get that sorted without bogging down the rest of the process. [JJ] So you can notate it on your day's schedule, I'd like to steal Myron Wagtail ten minutes early for sound check. |
